Introducing JTL

Submitted by CA_Teddy on Wed, 2008-07-02 11:48.Introductions

Hi my name is Jeffrey T. Lane, I was a volunteer at JANM from 1988 to 2000. Alot of the Old Timers know me. I have also been active in Little Tokyo for about that long, with various Organizations, From JACL APAN Chapter, A3M, Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, Aisarema, JACCC and a few others. I am mostly active now at Higashi Honganji and sometimes at East West Players. Also trying to get involved in the Community again. I miss working at JANM and all my old friends there. Lately its been kind of depressing going to Little Tokyo, with all the changes going on, and most of my friends go to J-town either for Temple or just special occasions.

introducing...vkm

My name is Vicky K. Murakami-Tsuda, and I am the Web Editor for this site, as well as the Japanese American National Museum's websites -- www.janm.org, www.DiscoverNikkei.org, and the National Museum's online store (www.janmstore.com). I'm responsible for updating and expanding content.

I was born in Los Angeles, and have lived within L.A. County almost all of my life. I have been working at the National Museum for ten years, but only recently started this new position in May 2005. I'm really excited about the possibilities of how this site is being envisioned. There are some very dedicated and talented people who truly believe in what we're trying to accomplish working on this, and listening to them and seeing the new National Center being built has definitely been inspiring.
