We've put together some simple instructions to help you register (create an account), log in, and get back to the Discussion Boards.
Following these instructions, you will:
Register (create a user account) at the National Center website.
Log into the National Center website.
Change your system-generated password into a password of your choice.
Click through to the National Center discussion boards.

1. Register (create a user account) at the National Center website
- At the NCPD home page, click the "login" button (lower left).

- At the login screen, select the "register" option (center, top).

- Enter a Username of your choice (remember: you'll be typing this each time you log on), and your e-mail address.
- Click "Create new account"; your password is immediately e-mailed to you.

2. Log into the National Center website.
- Open your e-mail message, and copy down the temporary password issued to you.
- Click on the blue message link, "You may now log in to ..."; this will open a new browser window containing the National Center login screen.

- Enter your Username and the temporary password
- Click "Log in"

3. Change your system-generated password into a password of your choice.
- Once you have logged in successfully, select the "edit" option
|

- Enter your preferred password - twice - at the appropriate place in the form. (Your password should be something easy for you to remember, but hard for someone else to guess.)
- Edit any other information on the account screen.
- When finished, click "Save account".

4. Enter the National Center Discussion Boards
- In the navigation menu (left column), click on "Participating in Democracy," then click on "Discussion Boards".
