An Educator's Resource Guide

Fighting for Democracy Educator's Guide cover

Designed as a tool to help educators approach the concepts and material in the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy’s Fighting for Democracy exhibition, this resource guide provides educators with activities that can be done with students before, during, and after visiting the exhibition.

This guide was created with the understanding that some classes will be able to experience first-hand the exhibition in a gallery setting while others may only be able to access Fighting for Democracy through the online exhibition at ncdemocracy.org/ffdonline. In either application, the Guide serves as a useful complement to the exhibition and as an excellent resource to generate discussions about shaping democracy.

For easier accessibility to the resource guide, two options are available—download the entire guide in a single, large file, or as a series of smaller files as outlined below.
