Democracy in Action alumna Patricia Luna addressed the audience assembled for the April 22, 2005, National Center Educators' Preview.

Overview of Project:

On April 22, 2005, the National Center held an Educators' Preview as a way of introducing the National Center and its programs to the Los Angeles educational community.

One of the featured speakers was Patricia Luna, an alumna of the National Center's first Democracy in Action program. Patricia spoke eloquently about her experiences in Democracy in Action, and about the need for students to get involved in their communities through democratic processes.
