Common/Wealth is an artist-in-residence/youth art program that teams local artists and youth to participate in an intense series of workshops created to explore issues of diversity and democracy. Through this interactive process, youth as well as educators are charged with determining their own meanings of democracy. The resulting product is an original artowrk that repsonds to these ideas and is a visual icon that generates thoughtful discussion and new perspective.
