Lesson Description

Students participating in Project 540 will emerge from Dialogue 1 having discussed the issues that are most important to them in their schools, communities, nation and world. Dialogue 1 offers schools a perfect opportunity to extend the conversation about important public issues. The activities suggested below will allow students to investigate the issue they most care about, and to turn that research into a basis for potential public action. Go to this lesson

Lesson Overview

Objectives:
Through paired interviews, whole-class discussion, and individual research, students gain deeper understanding of a public problem, and of ways to address it.
